July 2023 Newsletter

This is the first run of what we hope is a helpful way for us to Communicate, Connect, & Celebrate what is happening around here at Tri County. We are sending this to you with the hope that you will take the time to read it, and better understand the company that you are in. Share it with your family & friends, so they catch the bigger picture of what you are a part. Please send suggestions, and pictures of your fellow employees in their natural habitat as they provide comfort to our customers in such a way that they are compelled to tell others, and it honors the Great Comforter, Jesus Christ.

Teamwork. Why do we view ourselves at Tri County according to functionality instead of departments? I believe when we work as a team, we will have more of a “family” feel, instead of a “corporate” feel. When teamwork is embraced by everyone, our goal will naturally become us growing stronger together, not in competition with each other, and certainly not as silos separate from each other. It’s impossible to accomplish the mission of the customer being “compelled to tell others” without all the functions working together. It takes the entire team, all the functions, to bring about the “compelled factor”. The functional org chart keeps us from having “winning” or “losing” departments, but rather has us view ourselves as a “winning” or “losing” company! We either rise, or fall, together. We have to have timely, accurate, clear communication between teams for “teamwork” to happen. We’ve been growing in this, and I am confident we will continue to. I appreciate all of you working together, in your different functions, for the good of us all!

Invest In The Eternal

One of our values is Invest In The Eternal, and one of the ways we do that is by contributing a significant amount of our profits toward organizations and people who do that in various ways. We are partnering with an organization called neverthirst to help provide clean and living water to those who most desperately need it in Chad, Africa. It’s ranked as one of the most desperate countries in the world. Water is a massive challenge in this desert country, with over half of the rural population lacking access to safe water. And over 85% of the population lives in severe multidimensional poverty. Every month, we are donating according to the number of service calls and installs we made the prior month. That means every time we schedule a job, field a call, stock a part, process a warranty, bill a customer, install a unit, or change a filter, we move us further along to that goal. You can track our campaign progress here, and if you would like to donate towards the well we are currently financing, you can give through this link. Together, we make a difference when we Invest In The Eternal.

Donna Ackles 20 Years

Donna worked here for 20 years, in the field, and in the warehouse. She was an incredible example of our values and mission, and is now going to focus in on her grandchildren, serving them in the same selfless manner that she has served us all these years.

We’ve been watching it come together over the past year, and Laredo Taco is finally opening up next week along with the 7-11!! But we have all been invited to a free VIP Tasting Event BEFORE it opens, on July 10th, either for Breakfast Tacos from 8:30am-10:30am, or Lunch Tacos from 11am-1pm. This is a special VIP experience, and it’s FREE. So plan accordingly, this coming Monday, July 10th!!

That’s enough for this month! We hope this helps with Communicating, Connecting, and Celebrating. Please share your suggestions, and remember to also send in your updates and pics for the “Brag Board” in the Kitchen.
