Here’s our 2nd edition of our employee newsletter, and we hope this one also helps to Communicate, Connect, and Celebrate everything that is going on here at Tri County Air. Share it with those in your circle of influence that may benefit from a deeper peek into your “work world”. Enjoy!

You have probably seen these posters around the shop, that bear a striking resemblance to our Training Room walls, proclaiming our values that help us honor the Great Comforter, Jesus Christ. Below are slides of each value, to help you focus on each one by itself along with its descriptive phrase that helps flesh it out. Let them serve as flash cards to help you memorize them, and who knows, maybe you’ll have the chance to be rewarded for your hard work in an upcoming meeting.

Honesty. (Part 1) Talking briefly about honesty can be a challenge because it is intricately tied to all the other values we hold here at Tri County Air. And while we don’t talk about it a lot, it is foundational to a healthy and growing company. So this first part is focused on the Employer/Employee relationship, and Part 2 will focus on the Company/Customer relationship (next month’s blurb). The employer has to set the standard for honesty in the workplace relationship, making sure that the employee always gets compensated for the work they have done, and that the job’s ask is accurate to the job’s expectation. If the employer holds back pay for work the employee finished, or benefits they were promised, that is stealing, and should not be tolerated. This goes both ways, however. If the employee gets paid for for something they didn’t actually do because of not following the checklist on a certain job to be done correctly, or not closing out the timesheet accurately on a day’s work, that leads to a breakdown of trust, and ultimately second-guessing the reliability of future work and communication. We identify honesty as speaking and acting truthfully, and it can be eroded when we don’t keep guard over even the smallest of issues, even if they seem insignificant. Honesty is a clear indication of our level of integrity, and it has to be strong in the employee/employer relationship. I’m thankful we have an environment that encourages honesty, and employees that choose it over and over. When it is first strong in our house, it frees us to bring it to our customers’ houses in a seamless, authentic manner, and helps us fulfill our mission of comforting others in such a way that it honors the great comforter, Jesus Christ.

When you look at this image, it appears to be moving. But it’s not. Take time to fully understand a situation before being so certain of your opinion. Our first glance, and even second look, can be wrong. Ask questions. Get input from others. Be curious, and learn. Like, reading a book like Atomic Habits!

Atomic Habits is a book that will reshape the way you think about progress and success and give you the tools and strategies you need to transform your habits—whether you are a team looking to win a championship, an organization hoping to redefine an industry, or simply an individual who wishes to quit smoking, lose weight, reduce stress, and achieve success that lasts. Puerta de Esperanza

Puerta de Esperanza CarePoint is a ministry that cares for the children and families who live in the area surrounding Guatemala City’s largest city dump and market.
The CarePoint desires to see these children receive nutritious meals, quality education, fair legal counsel, socio-emotional support, basic medical care, and a safe place to participate in enrichment activities. The children in the program come from extremely impoverished families that earn an income by recycling trash in the dump or selling goods at the informal shops. The community has problems with domestic abuse, gang violence, human trafficking, and drug use. The majority of the families are from small rural villages and are often uneducated, malnourished, and fatherless. Puerta de Esperanza is literally a “Door of Hope” for these children.
With the partnership of Tri County Air, the children at Puerta de Esperanza CarePoint have the opportunity to grow physically, spiritually, and emotionally! Billy and Rich had the opportunity to visit the center earlier this year to both encourage, and be encouraged by, the great work that is going on there. A number of our employees have committed to pray and write letters on a regular basis to the children. Contact Rich if you would like to make that type of commitment.

What Our Customers Are Saying
Vicki S.
I don’t leave evaluations on any of these platforms. However, Andrew was great. Friendly, knowledgeable, caring, efficient. I’ll give him 5 stars.
Lawrence W.
Lugo is a fine representative for Tri County. He was considerate, polite, & helpful. Thank you for sending him my way.
Mike W.
Kurt always does a complete and thorough checkup during our scheduled maintenance. We are very satisfied with Tri County service. Kurt is a real asset and represents the company well.
William W.
Bryan Dolphin, a Comfort Advisor with Tri County Air, came out to assess our old system and needs. He is incredible. He spent over two hours going over our house, both inside and out. Of the 4 companies I compared, he is the only one to navigate throughout our entire heavily trussed attic (on a 95 degree afternoon) to assess appropriate duct size and even found an area over the dining room where the original insulation company had neglected to insulate. Bryan is the reason I decided to go with Tri County Air. He is professional, knowledgeable, and thorough and took the time to answer all my questions. After going over multiple options, I am now on the schedule for a new air conditioning system to be installed just two days later. If Bryan is representative of the kind of service I can expect from Tri County, then I know I will be a customer for life.

And if you are a tech, this just might be what everyone around you is experiencing. Maybe. Thankfully, we have the best techs in the industry, and they take pride in their work, just like this guy!
