Billy Blurb
This is from a previous Billy Blurb, but as relevant as ever!
The following image emphasizes Heat Safety. I have found that when we are overheated, our response time is slowed down considerably, and our clarity of thought is clouded. So read it, learn a few things, and prepare yourself for the continued heat that is coming our way. And call me crazy, but you just might find it helpful to say “I feel you ‘heat’” while you’re drinking that extra bottle of cold water. Even if people look at you weird, you’ll actually be the cool one by avoiding the potential consequences or injury.

Benefits Highlight

As an employee at Tri County Air, you can begin a 401(k) starting the first day of the month following your 60th day of employment. This is a great way to plan for your retirement, no matter what age you are. It is a good practice to do that just for the discipline of preparing for the future. But wait, there’s more!! Tri County Air will match up to 6% of your income as an incentive and encouragement for you to be saving. Have you been intending to do this and just keep putting it off? Did you start it at a lower percentage with the intention of increasing it and never got around to it? This is a huge benefit, and a smart thing to participate in. To find out more, contact Victoria in Human Resources, and get it started. Text her at 941-716-4113, or email her at victoria@tricountyair.com to find out more.
Invest In The Eternal
The following are a couple of examples of how Tri County Air lives out the value of investing in the eternal, by supporting organizations out of our profits that are impacting the world in significant, life changing ways. Click the links to find out more about how these organizations are making a difference.

Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ

Compassion International’s mission is to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name, which they work to achieve through a holistic approach to child development. They carefully blend physical social, economic and spiritual care together to accomplish this.

From The Hart
The following is from Jon Gordon, and it was too good to not pass on to you. I hope it resonates:
YOU ARE A LEADER
You may not have a title.
You may not have people report to you.
Maybe you never thought of yourself as a leader.
But I’m here to tell you that if you live a life of integrity…
If you show others what discipline, consistency and devotion look like….
If you encourage someone today….
If people know you believe in them….
If you lend someone a helping hand….
If you lift someone up with your words…..
If you coach a friend through a challenging situation….
If you solve a client’s problem…
If you guide a customer in the right direction…
If you hold your friends accountable…
If you love, serve and care…
If you impact the life of another human being…
You are a leader!
Lead well!
